Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Chillboards. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Zero Discrimination

    1. Discrimination is the exclusion or inclusion of people based upon aspects of how they self-identify.

Examples of these attributes are things like (but not limited to) the following:
      • Gender
      • Race
      • Nationality
      • Orientation
      • Identity
      • Socioeconomic status
      • Body type
      • Disability
      • Neurodivergence
      • Religious Affiliation
If you are making a joke that marginalizes someone, you are violating this rule and you will be banned immediately.
Categorizing yourself is not discrimination and does not violate this rule. #
  2. Reputation

    1. If it is brought to the attention of board admins that you are an individual who engages in predatory or offensive behavior, you can and will be banned for that even if you have not broken any rules here.
Unless you have publicly apologized for a past transgression, you are not allowed to use this board.
If you feel you were unfairly banned, you may reach out to author@bearglyph.com to request an un-ban, but you are not guaranteed a response. #
  3. Integrity

    1. Do not intentionally post misleading or false information.
If a user is asking for help on something, do not give them incorrect information on purpose.
Everyone makes mistakes, but if a response to a genuine request for help is determined to be maliciously incorrect, you can and will be banned. #
    2. Under no circumstances shall AI-generated imagery, text, or video be posted to this forum.
Posting AI-generated media, even if it is demonstrative, is never allowed.

You do not need to convince anybody here that generative AI is bad. We know. #
  4. Credit

    1. Ensure you credit artworks. It is preferred to link back to the source of an artwork (a twitter post, a furaffinity post, etc), but at bare minimum mention the primary art handle of the artist if it is known to you.

If you do not have the source of an image, you are responsible for finding it before posting it.
"Just use reverse image search" will not fly as an excuse for not crediting artwork. Either credit it, or don't post it at all.

If you are posting an image, it will be assumed to be your own work.
If you post an image that belongs to someone else without specifying the owner, you will be given a warning.
If you do it again after receiving a warning, you will be banned. #
